Job Responsibilities
In the role of Work Environment Engineer, you will have a varied, developing, and meaningful everyday life where you work closely with managers and operations to create safe, sustainable, and well-functioning work environments. You will work as an advisory consultant in the field of work environment and be an important support to managers in risk assessments, targeted safety rounds, and the development of action proposals.
You will actively contribute to the systematic work environment efforts of the operations and be present in the organization to support and guide. The role also includes conducting chemical and physical work environment measurements and establishing action plans based on the results. You will also serve as specialist support during new construction and renovations and conduct training sessions.
You will be part of Regionhälsan's team-based approach and participate in various contexts where you, together with colleagues, contribute to the region-wide development of work environment issues.
About the Workplace
Regionhälsan Västmanland is the region's built-in occupational health service and works to maintain and develop a good work environment and health by offering services in work environment, work-life rehabilitation, and health promotion. Regionhälsan works with strategic assignments in the region with a focus on promoting and preventive work at the organizational and group level. Expertise exists in the areas of occupational medicine, behavioral science, ergonomics, health, and technology. Regionhälsan aims, from a holistic perspective and a consultative approach, to support, convey knowledge, and demonstrate the connections between work environment, organization, productivity, and health to contribute to health-promoting workplaces and increased attendance.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a post-secondary degree in a relevant field, supplemented with training as a Work Environment Engineer or equivalent. If you have a few years of experience working in the work environment field, for example from occupational health or as a work environment officer, we consider that an advantage. You have good knowledge of risk factors in the physical work environment and preferably experience in independently conducting physical work environment measurements. The position involves work throughout the county, which requires you to have a B driver's license. The workplace is in Västerås.

You are structured, responsible, and self-driven, with a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You work proactively, see needs in the operations, and take your own initiatives to drive development and achieve results. Employment Conditions
Permanent position, full-time.
